Lalbenque is at the core place of the Parc Naturel des Causses du Quercy, where many walking path pieds, and bike trails… will get you into a wild nature and through the Causses du Quercy into the charming places of Laburgade and its well trail, the lavoir of Aujols, the Renaissance castle of Cieurac or Cénevières, the Phosphatières of Cloup d’Aural or the renowned caves of Pech Merle, the vineyard of de Haute-Serre, Les Hauts de Saint Georges, the path of St Jacques de Compostelle (GR65), the village of St Cirq Lapopie, the very nice town of Cahors, his secret gardens and many other places….… As you feel….

You can practice many other sports. Two tennis courts are at your disposal in Lalbenque, skydiving at the airfield of Cahors-Lalbenque, canoe kayak on the Célé river, boat cruise in the Lot Valley, horseriding in Calvignac, golf at the Roucous in Castelnaud Montratier.

La Vayssade can be a departure to explore the prestigious sites further ahead such as, Rocamadour, the the caves of Padirac, Figeac, or in the nearby departments, Sarlat, Conques, the Gorges de l’Aveyron, Moissac, and many other nice places in Midi Pyrénées… Yet we are lucky to be only at 6 km from the highway A20 (exit N°58).

And of course for your convenience and comfort, as in every nice areas of France evening will end up around the Table d’Hôtes. The opportunity for you to taste the local speciality, vines of Cahors and from Coteaux du Quercy.
